What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores for a website. Session storage (sessionStorage) and local storage (localStorage) work in a similar way. We use both only for technical purposes.
Strictly necessary storage
These entries make the site work. The legal basis is § 25 (2) TDDDG; consent is not required for them.
- lv-t (session storage, removed after use): remembers across a page change that the intro animation has already been shown.
- openpanel-pending-revenues (session storage): holds measurement values for one session until they are sent. It plays no role in normal browsing and is not set.
- Chat (Chatwoot): when the chat loads, Chatwoot stores a session identifier in your browser so a conversation survives page changes. The chat runs on our own server (helpdesk.levisteria.com).
- Booking (Cal.com): the calendar on the contact page runs on our own server (calendar.levisteria.com) and stores your selection there during booking.
All entries end with the session or are not used to recognise you across visits.
No analytics or marketing cookies
We do not use cookies from Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn or similar providers. Reach measurement with OpenPanel works without cookies; the identifier is created on our server and we do not store your IP address. Details are in the privacy policy.
Clearing browser storage
You can view and delete cookies and stored data at any time in your browser settings. The website keeps working; only the intro animation appears again and an ongoing chat starts over. If you do not want the chat to load at all, block helpdesk.levisteria.com in your browser.
